Serving just 4 athletes in the beginning, our 2007 competition team, pictured below, included 29 riders. Our 2007 competition season produced 16 first, 15 second, 12 third, 14 fourth, 12 fifth, 3 sixth place awards 12 participation awards with two major competitions to go. (Total program awards 2000-2009 are 89 first, 77 second, 60 third, 51 fourth, 31 fifth, 26 sixth, 4 seventh, 2 eighth, 29 participation awards.)

  Take on leadership responsibilities
  Include persons with disabilities in their school friends and personal lives
  Mature as they explore options and future possibilities through interaction with other volunteers, the participants, and the Dream Catcher families
  

• Adjudicated youth community service program
  100+ youth since inception serving as few as 8 and as many as 40 hours of community service
  97% of these youth have, to the best of our knowledge been good citizens since completing their hours

• Adult volunteers
  Relieve the stresses of their everyday world
  Understand the capabilities of persons with disabilities
  Revel in the “magic” of each participant and caring for the horses
  Inspire all of us to continue to improve the program and find ways to finance our competition trips
